Today we continued on with animation. We finally started to work with a person and started to make a person move in animation-ish. What happened was we took photos of ourselves say "Hello, my name is Ilona.". Next lesson we will be continuing this by going to garage-band and making it have sound which will be exciting.

Homework (Definitions)

Motion Tween:
A motion tween is a preferred way to create animation in Flash. If a symbol in one keyframe is moved to a different position on the Stage in a second keyframe, a motion tween can apply that change in position gradually through the between frames.
Tween:
Tweening is the process of generating frames between two images to give the appearance that the first image evolves smoothly into the second image. Tweens are the drawings between the key frames which help to create the illusion of motion.
Keyframe:
A key frame in animation and filmmaking is a drawing that defines the starting and ending points of any smooth transition.
Animation Cycle:
Using the technique of cycle animation, it is possible for the animator to reuse such a sequence of drawings over and over again to build up screen time.
Animation:
Animation is a set of images 2D or 3D which create an illusion of movement.

1st Leson in Term 2

Today was our first creative media lesson back which was exciting. Mr Andrews told us what we would be doing this term which is mainly about animation. Some websites we would use to make our movie is animaton-is and i-stop motion on Mac computers which is going to be exciting. We also were shown 30 second animations on this website called Angry Alien which was so funny.
