Today while Mr Andrews is away we worked on our avatars. For me I did my eyes:

Today we finally got to start our Avatars. Today I only did touching up of the face:

Creative Media (Photos)

Today we finished the rest of our Photo Taking. I had to be in front of the camera again due to Shae wanting me to be her Avatar. When I didn't get the photo done I mostly completed my Character Profile.

Creative Media (Photos for Avatar)

Today was the day of taking photos. Mr Andrew had set up a photoshoot for the class so we could take photos of ourselves for the Avatar we will make of ourselves. Every time we took the photo we would have to check whether it was good enough for our editing. And we also had to have 2 expressions on our faces.

Creative Media (Celebrity)

Today Mr Andrew asked us to photoshop a celebrity of our choice. Using all the skill we know to change the eyes, hair, face, expression and backround. For my celebrity I chose Taylor Lautner Jacob Black from Twilight). This is mine so far:

I finished my backround first with an abstact image like an explosion. I thought it might look good because it will look very imaginative. I almost finished my skin on my face but I didn't have enough time. I made grey because I wanted it to stand out from a crazy backround and also because it makes Taylor look stong. Next I will do the hair with this:

 

With the eyes I will do a rainbow colour for making them stand out the most.

At Home (Kitten and Human Emotion)

While I had a St Hildas laptop with me at home I decide to go ahead and made a kitten have a human smile:

At Home (Finished Hermione)

While I was away for 2 of our creative media lessons I borrowed out our St Hildas laptop to finish my Hermione:

I finished my eyes, hair, face and got rid of all blemishes. For the end result I quite like it. i wanted to try make most of it all blue which I did apart from the eyes because I wanted them to stand out which I think they did. I also used the burn tool to make the lips darker but not to much. With the hair, I decided to make the opacity go up a little more than I expected because it makes the blue really come out. But overall, i think the eyes are the best feature because of the rainbow colours.

The emotion these faces are showing is anger.They are showing this by showing their teeth in an aggresive way and squinting their faces.

These faces are showing the emotion of sadness. They are showing this by making lips cover their teeth (in most) and making a sunset like face.

These emotions on these faces are happiness. They are showing this by showing their teeth and by making a semi-circle cut in half on the top lip.

Animal for my Emotions

For our task of making a animal that has Emotions I am going to do a Kitten:

I thought this would be a good photo to edit because it shows the kittens face well and also has an angle so I can change it.

Creative Media

Since I have been away for the past two lessons being sick, I have missed out on learning about how to make your own brush but Mr Andrews told me there was a power-point about it so I have caught up with that. I also missed out on completing my Hermione which I will borrow out a laptop to finish that. I also missed out on getting 9 photos of 3 emotions but because I am awesome I have got those nine images, I will post them on my blog. The Emotion I have decided to do are happy, sad and angry.

Creative Media (Hermione Crazy Version)

Today was a first start at making our avatar version of Hermione. It was actually a good practice at using all the tools we learnt. This was mine (still in the making):

It turned out to be quite a success. I am still making this but I'm sure I'll finish it soon. Some of the tools we used was the healing brush, selection tool, clone tool and the dodge and burn tool. They were the main ones that I used to create this image. At first for the hair I was thinking of doing fluro green hair but I decided to do a light blue because I thought it would match the face.

Creative Media (Emma Watson)

Today was a lot of fun. We got to make a glamour shot of Emma Watson/Hermione Granger which was very interesting. During this session we mainly used the tools the healing brush, stamp and dodge and burn. First we got rid of her big blemmishes with the healing brush which was interesting to learn more about the tool. We then copied the layer and then zoomed in to find the smaller blemishes by using the healing brush again which was hard to find every single one. After copying the layer, we then used the dodge and burn tool to bring out her features such as her lips to make them shine.

Creative Media (emu + frog)

In creative media we did our first Photoshop artwork. We did a frog cross emu. It was very interesting. Along the way we learnt some more tools such as the lock and when we save, we have to make sure its in the right format. I think for my first piece of work I did okay.
